Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Name three levels of victimization.
-Discuss three challenges in recalling emotions during trauma.
-Name three aspects of addressing unresolved anger.
-Explain three levels of traumatic grief and loss.
-Name three exercises to help clients gain a feeling of empowerment.
-Name three steps in the “Accentuating the Positive” Technique.
